Ghost Writ.
The Ghost Writ show was commissioned by the National Centre for Writing in Autumn 2024. Celebrating Norwich as UNESCO city of Literature. This piece was on a CRT monitor – the work unfolded in the undercroft of Dragon Hall – the site of the National Centre for Writing. It was a live sub-information loop capturing the essence of a writer whose only path to understanding, lied in discovering meaning through sound, leaning into the liminal space between the tongue and the mind. A second longer version with sound here

A site responsive exhibition across five sites for London College of Fashion. It is a farewell to the buildings as the university moves to a single site in East-bank Stratford. The farewell encompasses the psycho-geography, memory and ghosts left behind after decades of creative thinking, artisan training embedded in the studios and workshops, interaction and collaboration of the people that have walked through the building, room, corridor.
John Prince’s Street (building 2) site’s focus is the psycho-geography, purpose built, brutalist, celebration of the space, the layers of skill, archive in digitised and analogue imagery. Interviews with technical staff , alumni and academics, roots in memory and ghosts of the building. The ephemeral nature of a student’s time here alongside many of the teaching staff, who are perpetual The solidity of the building. Once permanent now also evaporating with the memory of a space…

The Voice Project.
The Voice Project make brilliant choral theatre. In March 2020, the choirs fell silent. The Voice Project had planned to start rehearsing a new show, The Distance Between Us: Instead, together we began making films of their work with the singers recording and filming themselves. We developed them into a series including the portrait prologue below.
