Concrete Dreams films

The film below is an impressionistic piece made to portray the layers and layers of love, creativity and craftsmanship that went into the construction of Southbank Centre buildings – QEH, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery.

The source material that contributed to the final film is a combination of architectural plans and text based material from Southbank Centre archive, hand drawn structural plans and drafts from Ove Arup and Partners and film footage from ‘The Changing Face of London’ from The  London Metropolitan Archive
